BOOKER FEST @ 100 Men Hall

Bay Saint Louis, MS – With a marker on the Mississippi Blues Trail, the 100 Men Hall is a 100-year-old organization that preserves culture, interprets history and gathers the community in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. It is also a “Mississippi Must-See Music Venue” according to Rolling Stone Magazine (August 2022). Located in Bay Saint Louis,  the 100 Men Hall is a 501c3 nonprofit organization (Hundred Members Debating Benevolent Association), supported by tax deductible donations.

100 Men Hall is living history on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Throughout the year, 100 Men Hall provides a broad range of live music events and other innovative programs that reflect its heritage of hosting legendary musicians such as Ray Charles, James Brown, Etta James, Sam Cooke, BB King, Chuck Berry, and countless other Black musicians at a time when white-only clubs forbid their entry.

Booker Fest is 100 Men Hall’s premier fundraiser event, celebrating the one-of-a-kind rhythm and blues keyboardist, James Carroll Booker III, who spent his childhood in Bay St. Louis. Each year, Booker Fest draws (~ 400) visitors from around the region, national and even internationally to celebrate the legacy of the musical genius who mentored performers such as Dr. John and Harry Connick, Jr.

The 5th Annual Booker Fest will be held August 30-September 1, 2024 and is on track to be bigger than ever with a line up of top musicians and performers along with unique takes on Southern food. The event is in beautiful Bay St Louis which has been named one of Southern Living’s Best Small Towns in the South and a Top Ten Small Coastal Town by USA Today. Sponsorship of Booker Fest is an opportunity for your organization to promote your brand and increase visibility with a diverse and discerning clientele. Attendees of Booker Fest come away with their hearts lifted, and your brand can be a part of that lasting positive feeling.

There are several sponsorship packages available, so find the one that best fits your organization. Be a part of the story of the next 100 years:

Performance Sponsor $1000

Performers are a rich component of Booker Fest. We are grateful to have six performances during the weekend. The performance sponsor will be mentioned on all marketing materials, radio and TV interviews, flyers, and on the Hall’s large marquis for the Booker Fest. A performance sponsor will receive six free tickets to the festival. Performance sponsorships for each performance are $1000.

Music Sponsor $1500

Music tribute for Booker Fest, which includes a piano tribute, full gospel choir, and dance party are available for sponsorship. There will be a sign painted by a local artist announcing the music and the sponsor on stage during the performance. The music sponsor will be mentioned on all marketing materials, radio and TV interviews, flyers, and on the Hall’s large marquis for the Booker Fest. A music sponsor will receive eight free tickets to the festival. Music sponsorships for each performance are $1500.

James Booker Tribute $1750

Each year, musicians who have studied Booker’s music in depth recreate and enliven some of James Bookers’ most thrilling compositions on the Hall’s Hammond B3 organ. The musician's deft piano playing and interpretation of Booker is the centerpiece to the Hall’s Booker Fest. James Booker Tribute performance sponsorship is $1750.

Festival Sponsor $5000

There will only be one Festival sponsor. To sponsor the Booker Fest and be highlighted as the presenting sponsor for the entire festival, the Festival Sponsor will be on all marketing materials, radio and TV interviews, flyers, and on the Hall’s large chalkboard for the Booker Fest.
