The Writing Room

The Writing Room happens every 2nd Saturday from 10-1PM, led by novelist and arts activist Ellen Morris Prewitt in the famed 100 Men Hall in Bay St. Louis, MS. 

The cost is FREE.

The workshops include warmup exercises, mini-instruction, and two half-hour guided writing sessions. Ellen, writer-in-residence at the Hall, has twice been nominated for Pushcart Prizes; a story received a Special Mention. She’s a frequent speaker on writing and creativity and has conducted many writing workshops, including facilitating for eight years a weekly writing group of men and women living on the streets. To register for the event reserve your spot here.
